Yup that’s what he he said but I couldn’t help but feel slighted since it was still for sale on his site.

As much as my drivetrain an handle reliably so I guess that would be anywhere between 650 and 800 WHP.

What fuel are you planing to use .. 93?

On 93 only you could realistically make around high 500WHP / low 600WHP on a Dynojet dyno, maybe more is possible but definitely not safe on a stock eninge.

I think the N55 stock engine can handle up to 700WHP/650WTQ with full E85 and proper/good tune. Anything more I don't think the engine will hold up for long.

Moreover I notice that the 6 gear is very weak and can't handle more than 500 WTQ+ anything more most likely the EGS will register a slipping clutch that cause the DME to drop boost. Of course the xHP flash helps but it won't fix the 6 gear issue as it's hardware limited issue.

I’ll be running 95 Ron and water injection, I quoted those numbers because it’s an 8474 not an 8374 but I guess time will tell. Anything above the stock output with MHD flash will be well worth it in my book!

I think the 8474 makes around -+10 WHP more than 8374 per PSI.
But still your limiting factor would be the fuel even with 95 RON + water injection I don't think you will able to push much over 600 safely.
Go with Methanol injection you will make a lot more power. Water injection only is not worth it IMO.

My past experience with methanol has shown that it will allow more boost and more ignition timing advance resulting in more power however because it is a fuel, it causes the a/f ratio to go rich when it turns on. In order to realize the full potential, tuning is required which entails leaning out of the ratio via reducing the actual fuel being injected into the motor. The problem comes when, if for some reason methanol flow is blocked or somehow impeded. This results in a dangerously lean condition as the actual fuel being delivered to the motor had been reduced in order to allow the methanol to work properly. More times than not this results in melted pistons and burnt rings. To avoid this issue and make the power a 100% methanol fuel system is required which is something that I will never consider for this car.
Because water does not burn no fuel trimming is required, although it can be do done within reason (it does not require as much leaning out as methanol) in order to make more power. It also allows more ignition and more boost as well but without the dangers of the methanol. I intend to go with water only injection and a custom tune for it, based on my results I will assess and relook where required.

Update: The project is about 90% done, I’ll post a complete update when finished.
