I love the knowledge in this forum, but holy hell is it ugly and outdated. As a software engineer, I'd be willing to take a look at updating the forum, as I'm sure others would be. Is there any chance of open-sourcing it?

I prefer vbulletin 3.8 relative to 4 or 5. It's a whole big process to upgrade anyway, would need to upgrade PHP, the SQL server, etc. Not really worth the effort especially considering forums in general are pretty long in the tooth these days.
