Wish I could but I'm on 85N heading back to Richmond. I'll likely be back in about a week so I'll hit you up then. This coming week I'm probably gonna get some catted dp's so I'll definitely want to get some good runs in with another good car (that will definitely smoke me but whatever) just for fun.

Just wanted to say hello as my family is moving to the Charlotte area sometime this summer from Cleveland. My new job is near the airport, so likely will be on the west or south side. Currently, I am just running a JB+ around 75% on a 335xi. Heck, I'll probably me the only x in the area coming from the snow belt. Once the dust is settled, I'll be looking at a JB3.

So, any recommendations on a dealership down there that is tuner friendly? If anyone is willing to chat about pros and cons in areas to live (Mount Holly, Fort Mill, Lake Wylie), please PM me.

Got a great place I can push..... Had some issues with the front struts, making all kinds of noise!! Import Performance on Hillsborough St near the fair grounds did an awesome job of diagnosing my car (free) and fixing it up good. New strut mounts and new arms up front. Not a single pop or click. Feels better then when I bought it! Couldn't be happier... well if they returned a 650i to me for my 335 I might be happier! Kudos to Import Performance. They came through when Leith and M powered could not.

3 year alignments unlimited at Merchants on Duraleigh. Guys there know how to treat a BMW and a BMW customer. They have all the equipment needed for active steering 4 wheel alignment and the 3 year unlimited is like $200!!!! Thats 1 alignment anywhere else! I get mine done every 60 days no questions asked....

Im doing piggy backs and meth installs, *** if you ask nicely, intake, BOV's Boost gauges and oil changes... n54 only!

If you are modded, don't go to Valley BMW. I've had a couple of bad experiences there so I can't recommend that place. I hear Performance BMW near/in Raleigh is a great dealership as long as your car throws no codes. I would look them up. That's where I'll be going soon.

If you go to Performance, request that Ryan (one of the techs) work on your car. He's the only one I allow to work on mine and he's very familiar w/modded cars.

That's great info. Thanks. I'll be heading there soon because I have a vibration coming from rear end at about 11-12psi boost. Slight but noticeable.

That's where I work! Phantom... It's time to upgrade that bov. That pipe is solid, the bov is, well, a zshift. Splurge for a synapse and I bet it clears up!

You think its the BOV? Actually here soon I'll be getting a lot more parts and I think I'm going to get the stett with diverters. I love the pipe I got but I can't get the damn thing to quit leaking. Any Ideas?

Just bought JB4 after a few beers and a month of reading the forums.
Looking to get recalls done next week HPFP and injectors then off to install the JB4 and intakes.
Looking to meet when the weather gets better let me know if you guys go the the cars and coffee at north lake mall. Hopefully the first Saturday of next month we won't be snowed in.

I am going to work with a local Firestone/BF Goodrich shop as a service adviser. 4 wheel alighments, road force ballance, brakes, and the like.... come see me. I have found, what I believe to be the best shop in town for the Bimmer but the techs look to me for info on the n54 (scary). When I start to talk about alcohol injection, the guys eyes just glaze over. I have had just about every problem anyone can have with this motor so I have learned the hard way. PM me for the info on a great shop, with a great reputation.

....that was no earth quake.... I just got my car back from the shop and uploaded the new firmware from JB4. Big Props to the guys at Import Performance on Hillsborough St. down by NC State Campus.

http://www.importperformance-nc.com/

I am a tough customer, very anal about the lines on my car. They worked with me until I was happy. That's a new hood and bumper from Modbargains. Import Performance worked with the vendor and the insurance company on this project and I couldn't be happier with the end results.
