First Log N55 -
01-13-2022, 10:40 AM
Hello,
Just ran a log on my N55 135i. Happened to get a "Engine Malfunction" with 3 codes 2C90, 2C56, 2C58. I recently changed my wastegate solenoid because my boost was initially bouncing after full boost about 2-3 psi. This issue seems to be resolved, but seems like I still might have a boost leak issue?
Mods
-JB4 Map 5
-VRSF Chargepipe
-BMS FMIC
-BMS Intake

Just changed a setting on my JB4 to stock flash 4-3. Here is another log. The boost codes did not pop up. Felt like it pulled alot harder too.

Just installed a non catted DP. Ran another 3rd log.
Still getting 2C90 boost under target /Boost Leak detected code. Should I opt for a boost leak test?

Have you tried clearing codes yet to see if it goes away? A boost leak test never hurts, also, if you have a BEF make sure menu 4/2 is selected. If not, I would suggest using the BMS BEF.

I'll 2nd the BEF. Other than your rail pressures being a bit wonky and trims maxed out forcing you lean (set FOL to 90) the log looks normal.

I have tried clearing the codes. Still getting 2C90. I do not have a BEF. I believe I am set to 4/3 for that setting.

Just ordered MHD and wifi adapter. I'll do a BEF and run and post again once I get the part.
