Limp Mode? -
10-21-2021, 12:21 AM
Hello all!
I belive i am having either an octane issue or an overboost issue. I just started to use an E30 mix so i dont know if that is the issue but after a couple pulls my vehicle will idle at about 30mph. It happens rarely but i am still very concerned. Sorry if i couldn't explain my issue the best i hope my log will clear up my issue. Thank you.

Looks like a wastegate issue/sticking partially I could be wrong though.

I would agree, looks like the WGDC hit 99 then the JB4 went into safety. The AFR also looks fairly high at that time as well, 15.2 to 16.3 right as the safety kicked in

Log looks pretty good. Trims are maxing out, try taking out some ethanol.

What are the mods? And what is the symptom? Making no boost after a pull, but no code coming up to read?

The mods are:
OCC
JB4
Stillen CAI
E30
The symptom feels like i idle at 30mph with my foot all the way down on the pedal. I looked at my jb4 app after and i saw it put me on map 0 after being on map 3. Im new to the car scene so im sorry if im not being descriptive.

I also put my default wastegate down to 60 from 75.
Also to fix the issue i just turn the car off then on again.

Do you have EWG connectors installed? If you have an "over boosting" limp issue those are normally the best way to resolve it.
