Stuffed Turbo Upgrade with JB4 1.6t Elantra Sport DCT -
01-20-2022, 10:02 PM
Hey guys! I'm looking to upgrade my stock turbo to a stuffed K03. I usually don't go over Map 2 and was wondering if this would work with the JB4 and how much power should I be expecting?

You need an ECU tune if you add a new turbo

Not really, the rules are the same. Log Map 0 on pump gas. Your limitation is pump gas.
A proper back end flash will help because the modified turbo will make more torque especially in the midrange and high rpm the limiters need to be changed that is about it.

For larger than factory turbos we always suggest a good base flash map an then using the JB4 for fine tuning, logging, safety systems, etc.
