Car: G70 3.3T - JB4 v13 - BMS Intakes - Denso Plugs - E30 Blend - Map5 - Overboost protection set to 20PSI. The Rest of the car is stock.

Situation: On hard pulls, I will notice boost goes into the 21-22 PSI range. Upon this happening, the JB4 will go into map0 and the turbos will "shut off". I then have to power cycle the car to get the turbo's to come back on and continue on my drive. It is difficult for me to log this as it doesn't happen all the time, but it has happened at least 5 times in the last month or so.

My Questions: Is the car "turning the turbos off" or is the JB4? If it is the JB4, can I turn the boost safety up to 22PSI without damage to the engine?

I love Map5 as getting to 20 PSI is really a major difference then 16/17 in map2/3. I hope the solution is not to put it in Map3.

Did you read my post? It is difficult to get a log as it doesn't happen all the time. It has happened about 5 times in the last month or so and I am not just always logging every drive I do.

Instead of just putting one word question "Log?". Maybe helping me answer my questions would help understand the issue and maybe just resolve it without needing a log.

Is there an option to consistently log? I will attempt to recreate the scenarios where I have noticed this happening and log it.

I went out today to get lunch, I was not able to recreate it today as it normally happens on extended driving 1.5 hours +. But I did log some map5 pulls.

I did however find a screenshot in my phone(shows max boost of 21.1) of the jb4 app after one of the pulls that caused the car to go limp.

A log is worth a thousand words to us. Looks like that boost safety is your issue as you described. You can raise that to 22 psi.

Unfortunately as you're unable to recreate that scenario in a log, it's hard to evaluate and say exactly what's happening.
