Hi guys,

First post here, and I did attempt to do some research but honestly, it made me more confused.

I'm in Cali, so no 93 octane just 91, but I do have E85 readily available. My understanding is I'm safely able to use Map 1 but nothing else really without better quality fuel.

So my options are adding an octane booster to the 91, or an E85 mix.

1) What kind of mix is recommended (I read 30/70 E85/91)?
2) I saw a post saying the purple wire was recommended for E30+ mixes, but another that the purple wire was no longer used (the latter seems more correct).
*EDIT* Answered my question I think. Later harnesses get fuel info from the green wire, correct? I misread that part first.

Bonus questions:
I've heard mixed opinions on whether ******* hurt or help C43 times, mainly due to the loss of back pressure at the low end. Every thread about this ends in an argument with no answer. Any solid opinions?

Finally, how have people found intakes, either BMS or MST with this tune?

So I've continued to research, and my current plan is to run some map 1 runs, have the logs looked at to make sure everything is good. And then swap to Map 2 with 30% E85 (not 30% ethanol) and have the logs looked at again.

Does anyone have a better approach or some tips? I'm actually fairly technically minded I just have very little experience with E85/modding in general. Have to start somewhere though.

Sounds like a good approach. Post up the CSV file here so we can evaluate the logs for you
