The Ultimate BMW N54 Charge Pipe & BOV Guide (DIY Video) -

As I begin to increase the boost in my 335i, the first thing I want to address is the charge pipe. The stock plastic charge pipe is prone to cracking and breaking with increased pressure. Since I don't want to be left stranded on the side of the road, I decided to upgrade the charge pipe right away.
If you're beginning to mod your N54, I wrote a detailed article about what to look for when shopping for a charge pipe. Check it out here: The Ultimate BMW N54 Charge Pipe & BOV Guide
There are a ton of options on the market for chargepipes, blow-off valves and diverter valves, but I chose the BMS aluminum charge pipe with a TiAL BOV. In my opinion, this is the best bang-for-your-buck option available. It fits great, has a durable finish, two NPT bungs, includes all the proper hardware and a genuine BOV.
I also filmed a video demonstrating the whole installation process with a few tips/tricks along the way. Let me know what you think!

...yet. It's going to happen if you keep having fun
Nice work suspenseful.
In hindsight, I'd totally go for the BMS CP over my current VRFS, or others I've read about.
Gotta love the opposing meth bungs. No idea why the others do it inline... my results say it doesn't distribute the meth ideally with a single in the VRFS.
I also find the HKS BOV a little excessive/obnoxious. Constantly think of removing/replacing.

Haha apologies for my misleading statement.. haha I changed it long ago to the BMS chargepipe so I didn’t need to change anymore..

Awesome!
More and more I find that the parts I did NOT buy from BMS, the more I wish I had in hind sight, and may go back and replace. Almost like they have these cars and designed products with intent...
(from their CP with opposing Meth bungs, better sounding BOV (IMO), etc)
