Need a jb4 refresher -

Hey guys ive taken a bit of a hiatus from jb4 while i was working out some electrical issues along with a bunch of body work.
ive been running a mhd stage 2 tune for simplicity but i really miss my jb4 logging options and connecting to my iphone with the bluetooth adapter. so im hoping you guys can direct me to some specific threads or explain it to me again if you are feeling generous Ultimately i want to run jb4 with a custom BEF from what i remember in order to do that i would have to disconnect a few wires from the jb4 wire harness. is that still the case?
