Default Introducing our Fuel-FIT! line of fuel fittings. - 01-21-2016, 09:25 PM

Hey all, some of you are already starting to see our new line of fittings show up on some of your fuel kits so we thought we'd formally introduce them to you all. Attached at the bottom of this post is a short video showing the differences and how to install them.

As you can see at this time we have four specialty fittings that replace all the stock fittings but retain the same functionality, only better. In addition we added the custom 3/8" fitting to incorporate the ethanol sensors.

Name: Fuel-FIT! fittings.jpg

Size: 109.3 KB

Here are a few of the features that all of our fittings utilize.
  • Billet aluminum construction
  • Hard anodized
  • E85 compatible
  • Compatible with -6an push on style clampless hose
  • Better flow potential with tapered transitions and larger passage ways

In addition to the above features our female 5/16" and 3/8" fittings also incorporate:
  • Dual locking feature
  • Dual o-ring design
  • Open design to verify proper installation

In the process of designing these one of our primary goals was to eliminate the flare fittings that are typically required to adapt a quick connect fitting to a barbed fitting. Those fittings are bulky and with the new design we eliminate the potential for leaks.

Steve: for Stage 3 LPFP guys, without the FPR, is there any advantage to upgrading the OE fuel line? Is it necessary?

Im not sure if the new line are actually bigger diameter or just higher quality material. But for the prices hes charging for all his kits its a brainless choice to upgrade. ....mine should arrive today hopefully before Snowmageddon on the east coast. Lmao

Hey Steve,

Are these fitting for use w/ the upgraded lines? Or is anything on the actual 3+ bucket upgraded?

It think it would be cool to see 3/8" males as well. That way people can increase line size, and still use the Quick Disconnects. With the 3/8" you will get close to the same flow a s -6 fitting without the hassle.

When buying one of our port injection kits, it's literally only $40 ($60 for F-series) to upgrade the feedline all the way back to the tank. We definitely recommend doing that for both simplicity and flow.

Yes, they are for use with the upgraded lines. None of them are being used in the tank at this time.

Those are coming along with a couple other products that I'm sure you'll like.

FTR, the stock lines are a little smaller than 5/16" and there are a couple restrictions along the way. Now we eliminate those but still maintain the stock connections at the filter and the HPFP and that was why we developed these.

Fantastic video Steve, I haven't dabbled with Fuel yet as I run Pump94/15% 116oct but I want to step up my fuel'ing if recommended. I'm still pretty new to the whole everything, but do you think I should be looking at upgrading Fuel'ing when E85 just isn't an option for me?

Pardon my ignorance in advanced.

We aren't selling them individually at this time. That's coming but we're waiting on the second batch to come in before we offer them directly to the public ala cart.

In our quest to keep improving and innovating we have started incorporating another one of our new Fuel-Fit! fittings in our Port Injection kits. These eliminate 3 more of the AN threaded fittings from our kits so now instead of there being up to 8 additional threaded fittings in those kits, we are down to 1 at the fuel rail. This greatly reduces the risk of leaks, over/under tightening, and we've adjusted the angle to better accommodate the transition to the HPFP and PI! Just like the rest of our fittings we have also optimized size and flow characteristics for the AN6 lines we use in all of our kits.

Here's a couple comparison pics of the old Y fittings and the new Y fitting installed.
