If you're switching back and forth, yes you'd need to disable TBI or PI, otherwise you'll run rich. No reason to run either of them without E85...especially on the N55.

Correct...with E85 in the tank and TBI/PI activated you'll want to run map 6 or 7.
We DD our N55 with TBI and E60 on map 7 at about 490whp. We save Map 6 for kill mode.
On 91, I'd stick to map 1 see how logs look on 93 with map 2.

Why not run map 6 if youre running already e60 on map 7? E100 on 6?

I'm not sure if you were asking us...but if you were it's because we target 20psi on map 7 and 23psi on map 6 for an extra 50 ponies.

No, race gas doesn't require the additional volume E85 does.

I'm sorry but we don't do group buys.
Most people want immediate gratification when they part with their money and we certainly understand that. Consequently we try to keep all of our products in stock and fill orders as they are received. Doing group buys is a logistical nightmare for a small company and while they do have their place, that is not part of our business model.
Hope you understand.
Thanks,
Steve

I agree when I spend my money I want it now lol. Received my kit on Friday installing tomorrow and Monday great quality looking parts. I tried uploading pics but too large. I'm including a link to my PI Platinum KiT and stage 3 Fuel Pump.

I honestly feel and I may be wrong, that there isn't exactly the biggest market for this product, for this engine, with the exception of a few guys. A group buy (5 buys nothing crazy) can help launch the product and open the market up a little bit with the help of a few "Guinea Pigs". Totally understand though.

As much as I would love to see a GB, at this point I think its too late as a few people have already bought it and they wouldn't be too happy if other get it cheaper.

I completely understand where you're coming from, however this port injection kit isn't just for the N55 E-Series, it's for the N54 and N55 E-Series as well as the N55 F-Series.
We feel we put together a nice kit with a TON of options and priced it fairly. We hope you think so to and would love your business but we're going to remain consistent and avoid doing group buys.
Hope you understand.
Thanks,
Steve

Do you have a break down of what each kit is designed for? So some details to why you would buy the TBI or why you would buy the Port version. I'm wondering if there is any reason for a FBO to pick one or the other up. Of course the function of the fuel going over the valves would almost be reason enough to buy one of the options.

Here's a breakdown of where things stand thus far for the N55.
Throttlebody Injection is for those customers that are making approx. 450 to 550whp on moderate to high mixes of ethanol. The F-series isn't able to run quite as much ethanol due to the weaker HPFP. TBI is either on or off, there is no PWM control at this time so you must be able to make use of the fuel being injected and it can not be used for straight pump gas at this time. To our knowledge there is nobody making enough power on pump gas to make use of the extra fuel capacity.
Port Injection is more flexible as we do have PWM control and ultimately it will support more power as the platform progresses. Again there is really no reason to run port injection on pump fuel.

I can add that if you are not running enough power or a low power map with TBI active the car will run rich and misfire. Just up the boost or e mix and its all good.
I made a switch under steering rack to turn the TBI system on and off.
