Default JB4 Map6 on F55 with bolt-onís - 12-06-2021, 10:58 PM

Hereís to another Monday in the books!

I tried E85 for the first time tonight and I liked itÖ

Current mods are:
aFe intake with lid
FTP inlet pipe
Rev9 Intercooler
JB4

Iíve gathered a few logs over the last couple of days and Iím interested if someone could take a peep and just make sure everything looks like itís doing what itís supposed to be doing. Also wondering if I could benefit from running a custom map or at what point in my modding journey would that be beneficial or even necessary?

Thanks in advance for the assistance!

Looks okay but do NOT add any more ethanol than you are currently running. Trims are high and maxing out, adding more could force you lean.

Thanks for the reply Steve! I ran a gallon and a half in a tank of 93. Is it safe to run Map2 on just the 93 or would I need to add a gallon of E85? Or am I missing it completely and need more components before I consistently run Map2?

Did some digging and looked back at my Map 2 logs on 93 and pretty much answered my own questions. Appears as though I'm maxing out my trims even more so on 93 alone. So I'm guessing, in addition to the ethanol, a higher flowing fuel pump would be one of those necessary components I need to settle into map 2...along with bringing the extra octane.

Also, I've been seeing some things about the newer JB4 units coming with the EWG connector. Is this something I need to invest in? I picked mine up secondhand from a guy that used it on his BMW...not sure of the age but it barely had a scratch on it so I couldn't pass it up.
