Icon1 Golf R Mk7.5 - Map2 e30 Logs - 01-12-2020, 08:20 AM

I did a before and after pull using map 2 on two very hot days.

15 litres (4 gallons) of e85 mixed to a straight 98 tank filled up.

32 - 35 degrees Celsius outside (95 degrees Fahrenheit)

98

^^ these are datazap links

In my non expert view, timing really improved but the fuel trims went over 40%, currently I'm on FOL 45 so I'll try 50 next.

We dont use datazap so best to attach logs. Trims are fine to be high as longs as the AFR is staying steady. On the 7.5 stay on 45 FOL, going higher will cause fuel rail pressure faults now and hten.

JB4 Logs Attached

Seems a bit lean to me around 3500rpm at 14 then it comes down to 13 - 13.5 3800rpm onwards.

Logs look good. On low rpm ECU will lean out mixture for maximum spool to decrease the lag of the car.
On the E30 you can go to map 3.

I did three back to back pulls on Map3 today, 27 Degrees Celsius (80 Degrees Fahrenheit)

Still on my same e30 blend

I think things are looking good.

God damn I wish we had access to E85 in the UK!

Your logs look great, still got plenty of room left for more boot too, crank her up and make the most of that corn!

Update from me and my e30 adventures:

I went to the drags this week and managed a 12.406 with a Map6 built from a slightly upped Map3 Base.

I also managed a 12.442 with a straight Map3

Both logs are attached.. I should say that my mix was more of a e20 than my typical e30 blend.

One of my challenges is the launch control delay.. needed to release the brake at the second light for the 12.406

The other is the timing fall off cliff at gear change, really feels laggy on shifting.. seems to be fine if I manually shift at 5500

With down'pipe and intake you can make high 11s.
