Log looks fine though. You're not going to blow anything up running less duty bias, and probably not running more duty bias, so adjust until you get the feeling you're looking for behind the wheel.
Thanks Terry! I'm still tweaking things up but the car feels completely different, with a crazy amount of power down low, i just lost a bit of traction (with traction control on!) yesterday from a 2nd year - which is insane considering I have PS 4S's and they were warm. Just amazing.

The one thing I'm worried it about that "clunk" noise I heard once when downshifting. Considering I still have stock exhaust, besides not pushing boost much, is there something else I should be aware of / keep a more conservative setting - specifically anything EWG related?

Thanks so much for getting back to me!

The kick in the pants response is what I like most about the new EWG control. And as our early dyno showed once we augment the fuel control a little there is certainly more power to be had also going forward.

In terms of the clunk lowering PID gain might reduce response and thus reduce it? I haven't noticed anything with ours on downshifts.

Default JB4 Switching automatically from map 6 to 1? - 07-09-2020, 12:32 PM

Hey Terry

Thanks again for following up on my previous post. Today I managed to log a strange thing that is happening: car starts beeping (same noise when switching maps) and in JB4 it shows that it automatically switched from map 6 into map 1 by it self. It happened 3 times just this afternoon and I was managed to get logs rolling when this happened, please see attached.

It was a very hot day and I wasn't going WOT, I was driving actually rather quite slowly on a school zone. Any thoughts?

PS: I only started having this problem after installing the EWG wires.

1500 - 35
2000 - 35

3000 - 35

Default Better Launch - 07-15-2020, 06:46 PM

Hey Guys. Looking to improve the launch on the car. Have an AWD 2020 Luxe. Was hoping the EWG would help with the turbo lag. Attached is a log with the traction control off and brake boosting. This felt worse then just punching it. Any suggestions on what I should change to get more get up and go from a dig?

I tried reducing duty bias to 45 below 3500 rpm and my car ran like dog crap and even backfired. I'm going back to 50 where I have the occasional oscillation problems. Still trying to figure this out.

I own a 2017 Q60 RS 400 and I’ve done a lot of research but I can’t find much information on using the Bit6: option. Does anyone have any experience with using it? I’m under the impression it has something to do with DME_BT I’ve noticed the values change when it’s on

I’ve done a few logs with it on and the car feels better with it on but that’s all I can really say.

Default JB4 Connectors Question - 08-25-2020, 01:47 PM

Seems from picture the egw connectors will plug right under turbos. However mine came with an Extra wired (Two Black with red connectors shown in pictures), The instructions above do not mention this setup. Wonder weather they are Fuel wires and where do they need to be connected or if they even need to be connected. See image below of my setup (First Image are the connectors in question)

I search but no video of installation on these egw with fuel wires so if you have one please post it

Default Egg and fuel wires - 08-25-2020, 06:28 PM

In the fuel wire thread there is no picture with my setup above these two black wires are only about feet long and part of the egw connectors as shown in pict 1 where do they go if they come with the egw connectors hardness. I read the fuel wires thread and they reference a long and short with a resistor. Different than the one shown in my picture
