Waste Gate Duty Cycles, CAI vs DCI -

Hi all,
Mods in signature for context.
I noticed that on full 3rd gear pulls (2k to 7k), my WGDC were an average of 8 lower after going from the Stock Intake to the Ultimate Racing Cold Air Intake. (similar ambient air temps, though I do not recall the humidity)
I'm wondering if the same is observed when moving from the Stock Intake to the DCI.
I speculate the WGDC are lower as there is less restriction on pulling air in... so the turbos don't have to work as hard to meet target.

Truthfully, I'm thinking to go to DCI (if I get an upgraded FMIC) for convenience of working under the hood. The UR CAI requires the driver-side tire and cowling to be removed to check/replace the filter. The installation also required cutting of a brace inside the engine which I'm not excited by or aware of prior to it being installed.
