The JB4, Cobb and MHD have differences.
JB4: Just read all the posts on this site
Cobb: You can pick up a used v2 or v3 between $200-$400. This is a handheld device that comes with a cable to plug into your OBD. There are preloaded (OTS) maps for our cars or you can choose to selt-tune. I believe most of the tuners have left Cobb and shifted over to MHD. But if you are just looking for a simple tune that works, then this is for you. If you want to alter anything then you should head over to MHD.
MHD: You need to purchase an android device and download the application from Google Play. Then purchase in-application products, like the maps. Flasher Modules costs $100, then Maps run $49/each. This is the price list for MHD is this, but you also need to purchase the K+Dcan cable which costs $40.
Flasher module: $99
MHD map packs: $49 each. Requires the Flasher module.
Monitor module: $69
Increased boost limit (from 18 to 22 PSI) module: $49. For custom tuning purpose. Requires the Flasher module.
JB4 backends only flasher: $79. Upgradable for $20 to the full $99 flasher module.
The cost between MHD and Cobb are pretty much equal.
I also have a 535 and use the Cobb v2 which I purchased way before MHD launched. I do have an android device but the Cobb tune suits me just fine as I do not tweak anything and just wanted the added boost. Remember that we have a 535, not a 335, so be careful as repairs are super expensive and I hope you have an aftermarket warranty. If not re-fi your car through PenFed and pick-up there RT 66 warranty.
Oh, and just pick up the BMS cone intakes, they will suit you fine. No need to pay up for AFE or Injen.
