Geez, I destroy the Indy 500's in 1st and 2nd. I think I'm going to have to add a huge pull in boost by gear.

Well, you have meth and EWG connectors, I'm just on 93, you have superior torque and whp so it makes sense that you aren't catching traction. I'm right on the cusp with just 93. Also, if I try any of my runs at 45 or below, its a crap shoot for traction, which sucks because the DA is usually below 0 with those temps.

The saving grace is that I know if I put a real tire on the car it'll be as quick or quicker than the AWD peeps because drivetrain efficiency.

Certainly can roll out with the commitment. Check out the unofficial Top 10 time list, 2 RWD guys on there. I would love 11.91 on an AWD with JB4

In the real world of racing rwd>awd. All these awd cars being on the list just because it takes less work to go fast when you're not serious about going fast lol. Where is that list on?

Interesting. Of all the things the vr30 needs I'm not sure that's at the top of the list but hey good to see the aftermarket moving on the platform.

Technically yes but it's going in to production shortly with no changes expected.

Hello guys, just got a JB4 and I’ve been running some logs on map 6.
I filled with e85 and 93 to try and achieve an e30 mixture, did a pull on a progressive taper to 7 and back down towards redline.

I noticed power cut around 4k and adjust the boost back down after I looked at logs and determined the car did not like what it was seeing.
This is the first time I’m playing with the q50 and pretty much a noob to this platform but not all that new at tuning. AFR seemed too lean around that rev range and dropped about 4 degrees. Don’t see a way to log knock so I’ll just base the correction on ign timing.
Looks like a decent spike in boost and AFR may have cause the ecu to say nope from what I can see on the graph. Can anybody confirm? Would FW make a difference with AFR when running E85 and any advice on a good setting for map 6?

Map 5 looks better, set it back to 3 at the meantime in hopes for the ECU to adapt to the mixture

2018 Q50 Luxe Stock with JB4 BT and no FW

Edit - Feels like the ECU adapted to e85 , added a few more logs—first run is a decent 3 gear pull running +6psi.. looked great.. others are just a mix of random WOT with AUTOLOGGING on. Think FW would be beneficial on a e30 mix to keep that same AFR of that first run.

4.0 '3500
4.0 '4000
4.0 '4500
4.0 '5000

Runs seem OK but I wonder if you just wouldn't be better off on map3 or map4 on the v8 firmware.

Hey Guys,

I am new to tuning and am planning on getting the BMS Stage 1 Tuner for my Infiniti Q60 Red Sport AWD. I had a question regarding switching the map. I know the stage 1 comes preset with +3 PSI boost, if I wanted to increase this to +4 PSI, would I need to get the BMS Data Cable/Wireless Mobile Kit or can I do it another way without these?

Thanks,
Arun

Got a problem. Installed EWG connectors, revs in driveway were fine, started driving and limp mode but no CEL. Parked and turn off, back on, driving again, as soon as I hit significant boost, car rocketed forward, TC disabled, I almost went sideways and then I got a CEL and it says Warning Malfunction See Owners Manual. JB4 codes are 2562 and 2586. Any ideas?

Sounds like an EWG related install or setting so post a log up in the EWG thread and we can help you get to the bottom of it!
