Not much improvement so ff = 60 is probably best for you. Timing always drops during shifts for a moment. Sometimes too quickly for logging to pick it up.

You probably need a dragy to see what is giving the best real world performance but I'd guess map2 FF = 60.

Terry, here are a couple of runs with across the board duty bias and FF set to 55 on a Q60rs and 93 octane. See any issues here?

Looks fine to me. With the RS models we don't have the same low end fueling limitations we do on the SS models so you should be fine at FF = 60 or 65 too. See what feels the most responsive to you.

Additional install instructions??? -
04-12-2020, 07:59 PM
Is this all that is available for install instructions? I looked for a video and could not find anything. And the link from BMS takes you to the Stinger install. Am I missing something?

Just what's in the first post currently, hopefully some users will share additional photos in the thread we can use to develop a VR30 specific install guide. Our car has a development harness on it so isn't very photo worthy at the moment.

Terry, here are some photos from my install. The driver side is pretty easy to connect. Passenger side is a little more difficult if you have fat hands! I routed passenger-side connector around back of engine bay.

I plan on doing a delta dyno session. 1st pull JB4 only, 2nd pull JB4 and fuel wires enabled, 3rd pull JB4 fuel wires and EWG connectors

Sounds like a recipe for disappointing results to me. The fuel wires and EWG wires just allow additional tuning options. The power gained by each is entirely dependent on the settings used to optimize the vehicles overall tuning.

Won't be disappointing for me. I had some extreme lean conditions the 1st time around on the dyno. With some logs and experience I now believe I have dialed in a good Map 6 for the car, so my dyno time will be used to see the power across the band, not an attempt to see a better peak WHP number. The deltas I'll be looking for are significant difference along the curve. With the EWG connectors, I hope to see some power gains on the low end if I understand correctly. Most importantly I hope my curve is smoother than before, with better power delivery due to the 1 psi tapered steps I set up on the map
