Well I am back at it, trying to get some things finished before the end of the year.

N55 PR coil kit...

I made sure all the pins were seated properly, then installed the water seal. Some pins were pushed out when installin the clips.

I also started the dynamic drive and active steering removal!!!

Lines to the rear draining...

All the dynamic drive lines removed

All that nonsense is being replaced with just this. lol

Active steering rack is next....

Should have it wrapped up before the weekend is over...

I found some leaks while getting into this project.

front cover...

My rear turbo drain line had oil pooling on the anodized fitting, still unsure of where it is coming from.

My oil pan gasket is not leaking but I am going to replace that while the subframe is off. and I also have index 12s to finally install, bank 1 has a leaky injector...

So now that I have the dynamic drive removed from the car I am looking into m5 rear swaybar and m5 pullrods.

Pull rods are ordered. and about to pull the trigger on an m5 rear sway.

I also developed a cylinder 6 misfire while trying to log. Seems to only happen with mhd stage 2+ installed. flashed dme back to stock and no more misfire. hmmm

Wish it wasn't so cold out, hopefully it will not be a long winter.

Not sure if I mentioned this but I run a M5 rear bar ($100) and H&R's on my X-drive and think it's a great setup for daily use. One thing to look at though is the Dinan M5 rear bar. It's only $190

Back at it today. I installed my m5 pullrods and cut my engine cover to fit.

Here are the list of parts needed.

You will need (4) of #16 ; (2) of #15 ; (2) of #17

The car is running very well, minus the fact that it never seems to want to warm up. I am about to make a post about it. But otherwise all is good in the hood!!!!

I have deemed the reason the car does not want to warm up is the coolant t-stat is bad. you can read all about it here.....

I also have had a louder than normal tick that is harmonious to the injectors, but definitely not the injectors. I found that the issue was due to my lifters not getting sufficient oil pressure. You can read about how to bleed the hydraulic lifters here...

Parting out a few e60s and needed to pull the heater core to get the front carpet out. Never want to do that again. Lol

Yes , there have been a few. I cannot wait to update this thread. I have done CIC & Logic7...I may do HUD, not sure tho, I want something more updated...

my turbo or turbos went. i gave the car away. No garage and living in San Francisco, CA parking is a no go. Also nobody would touch it under $3000 to change turbos. Plus all bent wheels, and steering rack making noise, plus much much more. I just gave it away for free.

here is the best part. Leased a new 2020 M340i in september and I just lemon law'ed it.

Here are some updates. Getting ready for these to go on!

Beautiful day for some walnut blasting

Not sure what I plan to get done besides walnut blasting but may clean some more things up showbox.bio/. How it sits now.

Starting the RB Evo intake mock up. Decided to see how much clearance is needed and I think I can fit this kit without modifying it. This is the front only installed. I may have issues withe the dsc box; which tutuapp.uno/, I have a plan for if I do. I really cannot wait to start the dsc relocate project.
