Are there any concerns here -
10-20-2017, 10:53 AM
Hello all,
I removed my cabin filter and that shelf that holds it & installed those two BMS filters into the fire wall. Should I be concerned of rain water getting into places it shouldn’t or should I put the cabin filter back in? My only reason for removing was to hear my new RB’s spool & my BOV.
THANKS,

Looks OK to me... The main thing to be concerned with is ensuring the white DME cap which is weather sealed is on properly.

You've got the BMS air cabin air filters installed so you should be good to go. Also, now you have a bit more access to everything.

I know lots of ppl run those filters, so assuming it's not a problem -
but personally, I would triple check the DME cover , make sure you can lock it, and cover any wiring/splices you might have in or around that area. that are exposed or not in loom.
