Hi Rob,

Any update on these, or is it looking like the 15th still? I've just sent you payment for one to be sent to me in the UK.

Having my intake ports cleaned as we speak, so want to try to keep them as clean as possible.

Many thanks

Russ

P.S. Out of interest, does anybody have any ideas on keeping the intake ports clean? I know Seafoam does nothing to a gunked-up intake port, but what about if it's used regularly, like once a week or once a month after the ports have been cleaned? Just to stop it building back up? I really don't want to be spending a load of money to have them cleaned all the time, and here in the UK nobody does it. I'm the guinea-pig car for my local BMW stealer, and it ain't cheap.

methanol had kept mine clean....it is not hats to do the valves yourself. I do mine every 15,000 miles.

Got your payment thank you. My supplier is telling me that their ETA (to their warehouse) is 5/15. At that point they ship to me and I need a 1 day turn around. I have a bunch of these sold and am just as anxious to send them out as you guys are all to receive them. Unfortunately this backorder has caused many dated orders and thus many messages requesting status. Doing the best I can to get them all out, just in a holding pattern though at the moment.

Really? Looking on 1Addicts it looked a pretty tricky and time consuming process, removing the intake manifold and everything around it, then trying to turn the engine to close ports etc. Not sure I'd find it that easy.

Out of interest, if oil catch cans are installed on the positive crankcase ventilation side, but most of the gunk comes on negative ventilation, can't an ICC be put on that feed as well?

Unfortunately not without lots of modifications to the whole PCV system (mainly that it is primarily built into the valve cover).

I wish. Big headache this has become. Will call again tomorrow. May be big trouble in river city with the supply on these valves and the manufacturer.

FYI- I just ordered a large amount of the valves (the "core" component) from 2 other separate suppliers. I will await these orders to be shipped and expect it will be a week or less before that happens. If they come back and tell me the same thing (that the manufacturer "seems" to be tapped out on them), then I have a couple options as follows:

1) start ordering some "aftermarket" items that are supposed to function at least the same as the original and check for fitment.
2) redesign using a different "core" valve.
3) refund customers and discontinue item until a source is obtained.

I really do not want to jump on any of these options until we know it is requirement. I have loads of $$ into the other components that make up these valves already as I was trying to prepare for all these orders but now maybe left holding the bag if the source doesnt pan out which will be a drag, so I'm hoping to these other sources (at least one of them!) come through. Should know this within one more week. Thanks again for all the patience.

Rob

Great news. Just got an update that another supplier says they are good to the tune of about 50 units. This will get me about caught up.

Will let you all know when actually in hand...

Good news is that 10 came in today! I am still awaiting on more, but just happy that at least "some" trickled in. I expect that all other materials will be in on Tuesday, and should be able to get these all shipped out Wednesday if that is the case.

I would not think so. But if you have that issue its best to just fix it for the sake of fixing it and then see if it resolves whatever else.

Bad news is it is not going to be this week...

Good news is that I do finally have the tracking information for the remaining components, due in 6/4. This means I should be able to have most if not all of these out by 6/5 or 6/6 latest.

Sorry, this has literally been a 2.5 month backorder situation. Apologize for the delays, looking forward to getting these all out to you guys.

Rob

Thanks man. Truly appreciate it. It is nice to feel trusted from others who have their hard earned $$ on the line. I know there are quite a few of you who have these orders aged quite abit and have been very patiently awaiting without a peep. I never thought it would go this long, now I'm just happy to see the light at the end of the tunnel finally...

I'm all about calling a spade a spade, and I try my best. Fortunately there is a thread like this where I "hope" most who have purchased follow along for updates.

I can see how some other vendors may not follow up as it is very hard to give follow ups on a one off basis. If I had to one off updates to every person throughout this ordeal it would've been 50x as stressful as it has been already... and nothing would ever get done in the meantime.

I have all packages ready, just awaiting the contents... there are QUITE a few of them. This still amounts to many emails requesting updates, which takes much time to address them all so sorry if I come off short at times to those who have. I am praying I am stocked well enough after this is all done to where we don't run into a traffic jam like this again... that is for sure!
