Default Rear toe & camber lockdown kits available for E and F chassis $135 + s/h - 08-10-2017, 12:55 PM

When the suspension is modified (firm dampers, stiff springs, solid RSFB) and matched with sticky tires the eccentric bolts become a weak point. You hit a pothole? You go off track? You do a lot of hard launches? Guess what? You alignment will get off! The stock eccentric bolts for small camber adjustments tend to slip under high cornering loads, causing changes to the rear alignment. My rear camber lockdown kit eliminate the stock eccentric bolts to keep your rear alignment where you set it. These lockdown plates will ensures zero change in alignment even in the toughest driving conditions. The plates are CNC machined from stainless steel and supplied with CAD plated grade 10.9 hardware for absolutely zero-slip. Bolts are M14x2x100 with self-locking nut. The shims are installed with the U shape pointing down and can be used in either face up or face down position that will yield a total of 9 possible fixed camber settings because the plates are cut into 1mm increments. Please note that these plates won't allow for more negative camber than what BMW designed the rear end for. Compatible with all M and none M E-chassis and F-chassis.

Do you get all the spacer plates in the picture above and how do you know which one you'll need to use? I'm assuming the mechanic will drop the correct one in while doing the alignment?

Total of 10 per side (2 sets of 5 shims with different offsets) that can be used in either the normal orientation, or flipped, resulting in 9 different positions, divided into 1mm increments. Mechanic will select the appropriate combo depending on the rear comber desired.

Do I need both kits or just the camber kit. I had an issue exactly as pictured above.

The post is for camber kits, but toe kits are mentioned in the post. I'm not that familiar with alignment.

Kit received, thanks. I will be installing myself, any general correlation between mm of shim used and camber angle on the e90/e82 chassis?

I don't install these so honestly don't know exact numbers but feedback from shop is 0.1 to 0.3 per mm depending on ride height.
