Default Map 4 boost safety - 11-20-2021, 10:33 AM

Hello all. I am fbo, e85 bef with e50, stock turbos. I currently run map 6 with specific gradual boost targets due to a weak clutch (Hoping this winter for clutch upgrade). I'm wondering if my map 6 target settings is causing it to go into map 4 because of boost safety and/or too much ethanol? Stock TMAP as well. It doesn't do it all the time however. Eventually I plan on upgrading the turbos when funds allow. Do I need to consider the 3.5 bar tmap since boost is greater than 20psi? Attached are 2 logs. One goes into map 4 (1010) and the other does not (1116). Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Your safety limit is set too low for you map 6 boost targets. Set your safety to 21 and lower FF to 80.

Thanks for your help. That seemed to work. Looks like my FF wants to work its way back up. I do have map 10 set for wastegate rattle reduction. I guess it'll be time for new turbos sooner than later. Here's another two logs attached after the correction. Thanks again.

Looks like still FF still isn't all the way up where it should be quite yet. Make sure to keep tuning it until it follows WGDC. For some help, try using a linear number sequence. EX: 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60, etc.
You currently have it set as 50, 50, 50, 50, 50, 50, 53, 53, 53, 56, 56, 60, 60
