JB4 and BEF problems 30FE and 3100 Codes -
04-22-2018, 12:19 PM
Hi i got the jb4 and fuel pump BEF and i'm having problems. Every time I step on it I got 30FE code for Boost Over Traget, 3100 Low Boost Mode Engaged which lowers my boost to a limit of 5 psi and 29F4 for ******* ********* detected. Last one doesn't worries me cause I really got ******* *********. This slows my car really BIG TIME!
This is driving me crazy, even if I step on it on the highway for passing a car it comes up. Need help on this.
Does anyone know a solution for this?

Well thats probably your problem. If you loaded a bef and didnt update the settings, they are wrong.

Logs are too short to evaluate it. Longer runs.
What turbos? Lower menu12 to 2000rpm.

Logs are too short for me to see much. If you want to capture partial throttle stuff you need to manually start recording.
But did lower menu12 help? If so then you can lower it further to evaluate.

OK, i'm completely new to JB4 I had COBB before, still got it just not using it. Giving a try with you guys and see if I can get more HP out of my car. So I don't know where is menu 12. I need some directions to go there and lower it. Can I access from the app or has to be on the steering? Most of the time this problem happens when I gradually step on the accelerator, Revs and boost gradually going up and then it lights up the half engine light and lower the boost. As soon as I clear the code from the JB4 app, boost goes up again with no problems.
