Additionally there are quite a few good octane boosters (or wmi) that will give you the octane you need without requiring more fuel like e30 will. I think the increased demand of fuel on e30+ coupled with the high boost request is why the car can't compensate for the afr drop. The fuel wires were intended to decrease how rich the cars tend to run at the top of the rpm band and can't compensate for running out of fuel. Again, hopefully Terry will come in and advise with his expertise.
Got it, so in that case I'll run around +7 with this e85 side, but I'll probably run E20-E25. Any Map 6 suggestions with this setup?

The base 91 octane fuel is part of your limiting factor. I would slope in the boost gradually to a max of +5 at 4500 then start sloping back down at 5500 rpm slowly. Send in logs, then we can see if you can try +6.

LOL, I was actually commenting on Mr Moosh but this does apply to both of you in terms of 91 octane base fuel. I will make sure to tag people in my responses so it doesn't get confusing.

Lmao I kinda figured but he can probably use the same advice. Heres a quick map 6 with +6 peak using E25. Around 93 octane actually.

Beautiful, smooth timing ramp, nice afr across the range. Peak boost of just under 16 psi. Nice. When I used an ethanol calculator with your numbers of gals, etc. starting with 91 it said 92. We might be splitting hairs though between 92 and 93. If the logs look, good then the logs look good!

The octane of the e85 I use is around 105 that's why it's around 95octane when I make an E30 mix. But I'm thinking of emptying this tank and mixing in e20 and running +7 with ~93-94octane.

As long as you have actually tested your e85 to verify its content. I have tested many e85 pumps that have had e70 or worse. They can actually be between e50-e85 and still call it e85 (stupid right?). Its very likely to not be full e85 and not quite 105 octane. Best to error on the side of safety. I would be careful about running more then +6 without verified emix or good mmt octane booster in the tank. I use a mixture of octane booster and e20 with 93 to run +8. I spent a bit of time on the dyno and street logging to come up with my setup. Sometimes less boost is more also as timing will drop the more boost you use and sometimes you make more power on less boost and higher timing. You can only really find this out by dyno testing.

Awesome, thank you Terry. Do you think I could safely run +7? Or would that possibly be too much. Also to run the fuel wires, just have to enable Bit 0 in the settings correct?

That's what I'm thinking next. Maybe push 6.5-7ish if the fuel tested is good. Might have to order a fuel testing kit next.

You can always try it but likely won't get much extra boost. On fuel wires right once installed set bit0 on to enable.

Just ordered some boostane for the track this weekend, will have some logs for review. I think I am finally running a clean Map 6 for my setup

Sounds good, I wouldn't go past +8 even on booster. I tried and the factory ecu tries too much timing with that sensor data and ends up not pulling clean consistently. In my opinion we will need an actual tune above 18 psi unless someone can figure out how to give us direct wastegate control instead of messing with map sensor data. The RS guys are lucky since they already have mapping designed up to 14-15psi. They can take advantage of higher boost with proper octane and fueling due to the different ecu strategy. The best bang for the buck setup currently would be full bolt ons, an ecutek tune, a JB4, and a WMI kit. That is, without the expense of a $3000 set of fuel pumps/injectors and full on e85.
