Default AWD, DSC, ABS, and EMERG EBV lights come on at once - 10-08-2016, 07:18 AM

Hey Guys,

As the title states I had the AWD, DSC, ABS, and EMERG EBV lights come on at once last night while driving. The car also makes a loud grinding/disengaging noise when I shut the car off. I restarted it and the lights went away but the grinding noise is definitely still there when I shut it down. Any ideas? It's a 2008 335xi with fbo, spec stage 3+ clutch running e85 on a custom MHD map. Never launch it but I fear it's the transfer case motor. I have around 99k miles on it.

Thanks in advance.

A simple please would've sufficed. My tablet died and I figured someone would've had the exact same symptoms. And it isn't useless because it was solved no thanks to you mister.

If u had posted codes I could of told u about the 25$ gear replacement for the actuator. Ur loss due to not posting codes and I see no one else even attempted to answer. Trying to help u but u refuse. Bye Felicia.

I agree with duracell8.
I have learned very fast that without logs or codes its hard to diagnose anything online.
Also you don't have to be a 8==D to forum members. You were posting for help, you should be thankful anyone spent time trying to help you.
Glad your fix is only $500, on these cars any part that breaks tents to cost a MIN of $400-$500.
