There is more we'd like to do but it's a small market so we're working on building out our customer base. Helping spread the word and get more units out there will help us with the future development.

No not me, you're probably referring to Son who works here doing system assembly. He's on the mend. Bad case of Pneumonia!

Im sure I speak for the rest of us, hope Son gets 100% soon!
You can count me in as a tester or whatnot. Im repping the jb4 tuned license plate frame here in south Florida, and Im computer savy, just new to turbos and tuning but I have lots of questions and I learn fast. Only caveat is my car is my daily driver so as far as testing is concerned
Can you tell me, what is this boost safety feature?

This looks fairly normal... The problem with the 200i is the small turbo so much of the power gain has to come from higher timing advance.

Run a log on map5 for comparison.

Map5 looks OK to me. If it's working better for you than map2 you can stick with it.

is it worth upgrading to the jb4 from the stage 1??
what would i expect from the jb4? is there slight air fuel ratio stuff or is it still just psi boost but being able to select when the boost gets bumped up by gear logging and code reading?

Short Information: After running map 5 a few weeks i noticed that the boost is fluttering at ~50% throttle, not all time and not in all gears but me and other passangers can feel that the car does not accellerate constantly.
I switched back to map 2 all Fine.

Good afternoon,

I just received the Lexus JB4 Tuner and the JB4 Device Wireless connection kit from you guys. The installation seems fairly simple. However, the TMAP male pins wont plug into the factory female connector. It doesn't go all the way in and connect. See image:

Are you able to confirm that this is an issue and do you have any recommendations? I'm not sure if the pins may be crooked or the plastic piece inside are in the way. Again, any troubleshooting recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

That normally happens if the white insert on the factory plug is not seated properly. You could remove it all together as a test.

When you unplug the connectors you'll see the white insert slides in and out.

I am having an odd issue with my JB4 currently. I run map5 or map2 currently, being FBO. I originally had the boost controller issue, that is fixed. It is intermittent, like the tuner goes into a limp mode, even on map0. The only thing that can fix the issue is power cycling the car or disconnecting it all together. Is there some new firmware or is there something wrong with the mainboard/IC? It's only about a year old.

If you need tech support email in, but first steps if you get faults on map0 are to try disconnecting the OBDII cable to see if it's related, and open JB4 enclosure and take photos so we can confirm no water intrusion or physical issues on the board.

Hello,
Just installed the JB4 and bluetooth app for the IS 200T. Overall very happy with the results altogether. I'm also experiencing what Schwag mentions, where it's running fine then randomly won't push more than 4psi.

However, my main question is given the current modifications to my vehicle on 93 octane fuel, which map should I be running? I'm assuming the limp issue is because I've ran the wrong map.

I can go get some logs to upload, however wanted to wait until i have the catted d.p. installed to try and do a customized map (if possible?).

Thanks! Really a great product, best system for most IS owners needs.

2016 Lexus IS200t FSport
-BM JB4 w/ bluetooth
-FTP charge pipe
-TTI turbo muffler delete
-TTI diverter valve spacer
-HPS full intake kit
-pending install - Catted PPE d.p. (GESI)
