When they use it in other applications we'll get more involved, for now its a much smaller market than the turbo diesels.

Looks like you are going over to the "Dark Side" where "Dark" = "D" = Diesel.

I can say with absolute certainty that our diesel application will not have timing control.

I have a 2010 X5D on order. Should have it in 2-3 months, but in the mean time if anyone has a 335D/X5D, is local to Woodland Hills, and wants some free parts just drop me a note.

It sucks that they dont have an M sport package with the body color moldings for the diesel. I love the look of it on the 4.8's.

Whoa...that is a big change for you T. Normally it is the bear minimum with the auto and you are set.

What are you going to go with all of those extra options...

Normally they are for the business so I just want to keep the cost down. But this one will serve backup duty as our new family SUV.

Sounds like a plan to me. I am excited to see what you can do with the diesel motor. If it is anywhere close to 350rwhp/450rwtq, while getting 30+mpg (mixed driving), I could definitely see myself getting a 335d or X5d after my lease is up.

Cant wait to see the results!

The sound system is bad ass, the cameras (there are 3, one in each mirror and one in the tail gate) give you a top down view, very cool...if a little silly.

hurry up and get this tune developed!!! I am going to be purchasing a 3 series within a couple of months and I would love to be a beta tester. I am dead set on a 335i, but a 335d with the crazy torque and mileage is VERY tempting even without the potential tune, so with a tune I think I would have to have one! Just the sheer satisfaction of telling the dude I just beat that the car is a diesel and watch his face will be enough for me!

We picked up our '10 X5d a couple of weeks ago. If I were in SoCal I'd gladly give you my car for testing. I'm in for one of your products when it's ready.

Congrats on your order, I'm sure you know you'll love it.

(I'd still have my JB+ from my old 335, but the 535 lease I assumed has Dinan software & exhaust.)
