2018 Navigator Black Label w/ JB4 -
07-15-2018, 06:08 AM
Had a JB4 on my 335IS before I sold it and I was close to 600 WHP....I am happy to report that the JB4 also works with the 2018 Lincoln Navigator.
I am waiting for my Bluetooth adapter to show up so I can update the maps and send a few logs.
If I’m running 93 octane here in the south... can run MAP 5 or should I stick with map 1. My old JB4 would auto adjust on MAP 5.
Regarding dyno testing. The Navigator has a few different driving modes...”excite” puts the SUV in 4x4 and has quicker tip-in; normal is 2x4. Besides running the dyno in sixth gear what mode should I be in?

Which Jb4 is working with the Navigator?

The EcoBoost one should be. Its just a glorified Expedition, which is basically an SUV F150.

Actually the 2017 was as you stated and that’s why they never sold well...however the 2018 is a completely different SUV and very little in common...maybe the SYNC3 is the only shared item...and yes it has the Ford Raptor engine. They can’t keep them in stock...they are doing so well against the Escalade that Cadillac is offering an additional $10k + current rebates.

No, this is not the same auto tuning. You can run map 2 though and post a log! Map 5 is just more aggressive, so you want to move one step at a time.
Map0: Fully disable JB4
Map1: 4psi peak over stock
Map2: 5psi peak over stock
Map4: Stock map with JB4 CANbus active for logging
Map5: 6psi peak over stock
Map6: User adjustable by RPM map on user adjustment page, values are peak boost over stock by RPM under heavy throttle.

Are these the same Map profiles that the Reg F-150's (non Raptor) get?

Whats the difference between the Black Label and the Reserve? I HATE the Black Labels interior choices (and nearly $100k price tag).

Really just the wheels, seats which are the most comfortable I’ve ever sat in (30 way), headliner and all maintinance (incl wear items like brakes and tires) and concierge services to pick up and drop car for service and car washes 4x4

So I shouldn’t be concerned with the low AFR?
Would e85 bring it up some? This is on 93.

No it runs in the 10s stock. Right now we don't have the JB4 setup to lean it out. We're going to experiment with that, though. A little E85 won't hurt. Keep it around 30%.
