Not something I've seen in testing but it's easy to datalog and verify. Generally throttle is used to modulate boost, and at lower RPM where the engine is sucking in less air, its default position is going to be lower than at higher RPM where more airflow is needed.

How well does this address the poor performance under 4k rpm? The stock RC200t has a noticeable lag before power kicks in, from standstill or highway speeds. (Nothing like slamming the gas to pass, only to wait 3-seconds before it actually goes)

Do you currently have any systems available for the 2016 RC ? Thanks

The throttle lag issue is not affected by the BMS tune, but it does create a huge amount of torque to get you going.

Harnesses are finally in mass production... I hope just a few more weeks now for a general release.

It's on the website here: http://www.burgertuning.com/lexus_pe...nce_tuner.html

I'll work on the install guide later this week, but it's just two easy to reach connections.

Added a basic install guide to our site so should use some additional photos. If you want to help the cause post some photos here as you're doing the install and we'll grab the best ones to update the guide.

A few are out there but I'd love to see more customers post their feedback and reviews.

I've installed a PPE test pipe, FTP charge pipe and turbo muffler delete. I will do some testing with the +6 PSI setting.

Terry, do you think it would perform well having those bolt ons with the +6 psi setting on 93 oct? I remembered you telling me less is more in some situations.

The turbo is the limiting factor, so what you set the Stage1 to, as long as its at +4psi or higher, probably won't make much difference. But uses the Dragy to do before/after testing for each mod so we know what the real world benefit is.

Hey Terry,

I installed the BMS stage 1 and did a couple of data logging runs at +4, +5 and +6. Which one of these seem to be the best setting?
Attached Files
File Type: csv +4.csv (22.8 KB, 44 views)
File Type: csv +5.csv (27.2 KB, 52 views)
File Type: csv +6.csv (18.1 KB, 36 views)

The stage1 logging is limited but overall +5psi looks best to me there.

Great! I’ll leave it at that. Hopefully soon I’ll take it to the dyno to get some figures.

Not bad at all! Power under the curve is what you can really feel behind the wheel.

Oh definitely! I think I will look into fuel mixes next or even a custom re flash tune that incorporates the BMS to get maximum output.
