Default PEUGEOT 308THP - 06-28-2018, 08:22 AM

Terry
My wife has a 2014 Peugeot 308THP (in Brazil), which uses exactly the same 1.6L Turbo engine/powertrain as the Mini Cooper, derated to 165HP. I know other pigback Minicooper tuning boxes will work perfectly with the 308THP raising power back to the OEM 205HP range. Have you ever tried the JB4 on a 308THP?
Thanks

I've never looked at that model.. Get me some photos of the engine bay and TMAP/MAP sensors, so I can identify which electronics it uses.

Hard to see the sensors themselves in the video. I can see the TMAP sensor which looks correct for the B48 application, but I can't see the MAP sensor. Can you get a close up photo on your car?

I can't get that image at the moment as I am in the US and car is in Brazil, but it is on the intake manifold and it is exactly the same as the one used on the Mini. The Racechip used on the 308THP is the same used on the Mini Cooper., so I bet the connections are exactly the same as well

Most likely the JB4 is fully compatible then. Worst case, we have to provide a firmware update for it.
