Default Misfire cylinder 4 - 08-04-2018, 04:11 PM

Hello guys. Just recently upgraded to a stage 3 lpfp along with pprt injection by bmp. Using a bms pi controller. For the first time I filled up with full tank of e85. Currently have the e85 St bef map flashed. On waste gatw pressure of 10.8 it doesn't misfire but anything higher it always misfires cylinder 4. Attached is a log

I'd Say you need to check your plugs and i'd even try to swap coil number four with coul number three and see is the misfire follows the coil..

Misfires can be tough to diag.

How old are the plugs / which plugs are you running and at what gap?

Coil packs- always a possibility too.

Spark plug swap then coil swap then injector swap that is the approach that I would use.

Id double check the wiring / connector on cyl 4.

May be worth swapping out plugs as well-ngk 1 or 2 step colder

So it was indeed ****ty plugs. I swapped out for some ngk 2 step colder gapped at .020. runs amazing now. How does this e85 bef log look?

Overall this looks a good bit cleaner. Some corrections up top on a few cylinders- but nothing alarming imo.

What size turbo do you have?
