Default JB4 EWG and PWG version - 04-22-2019, 12:52 AM

I have a full set of JB4 for N20 EWG with all the FF and add-on connector which i no longer use, My friend has a PWG N20 and wants to install it, was wondering if its possible. Of coz the additional wire that goes to the EWG controller cannot be re-used.

Cheers, j

Yes it's compatible although best to use the right system for the vehicle.

Thanks Terry, good to hear that I can reuse it on pwg. Can I leave the EWG connector unplug? Will it run given its not connected?

Yes just plug it in to itself to keep elements out and tuck it out of the way. It's only active if attached to an EWG wastegate.

Hi Terry,

I have 2 additional questions, I noticed that there is a pwg connector the blue patch which my units does not have. Is this a MUST to connect to control the Pwg or it can do without.

Lastly, the current firmware is Ewg, so I assume once I start the car I can connect to JB4 blue tooth and flash it to PWG. Or I need to flash it before I start the car. Looking forward to hearing from you urgently.

Thanks
