Default BM3 + JB4 - 08-04-2019, 07:57 AM

Hey new guy here (at least on these forums) and looking to see who is running a BM3 + JB4 combo. Currently, I am on BM3 Stg 2 E30 OTS, xHP Stg 3, ER ******* ********, MPPSK Exhaust, FTP Intake Pipe + Filter, FTP Chargepipe and NGK 94201 spark plug gapped to 0.22.

I have been reading about the benefits of JB4 + BEF and am also thinking about going with the Fuel-It CPI kit, so makes sense to get JB4 which has many beneficial features than something like Torquebyte which is just good for one thing.

What do I really need to know about BM3 + JB4 combo? How do I get the BM3 BEF map? Can JB4 help with throttle closure issues?

Quite a few, you can use BM3 to load our free B58 maps too!

Hi Terry!

I pulled the trigger and got the JB4 with bluetooth and EWG connector. Is there a walk through guide for BM3 users on setting everything up?

Basically it's the same as our MHD BEF: B58 MHD Back End Flash Maps - N54Tech.com - International Turbo Racing Discussion

Are you going to load our BEF or use a BM3 map?

I would be interested in seeing your BEF. I'm currently running BM3 Stg 2 E30 OTS. Do you have an E40 map?

My JB4 arrived yesterday. Comes with every accessory and a billet chassis which is really nice. Feels heavy and sturdy.

Hoping to install it today after work and start playing around with it.

Hey Payam, what plug does the FF connector go to? I didn't see it in the B58 install menu or in any DIY videos.

The fuel pressure plug is not needed on the application.

Nope, we handle that in the BEF now. Just need the EWG connection.
