Default I have an E82 w/ F-series engine (which flash)? - 11-02-2018, 08:35 AM

I've discovered something strange recently. My vehicle is very rare and the engine type is listed as the same as the M135i (F20).
I've been having issues with the E-series BEF tunes and feel it's because my engine is different.

How would I flash the N55 PWG tune for the F20 into my E82 that has the same engine? I'm not sure anyone has dealt with this before.

Attachments show engine differences, application lists for E/F series.

Shouldn't I flash a tune that is designed for my specific engine, even though it's listed as F-series?

The N55 was used in both the E and F series. Nothing special about your car.

Correct, but only in the 135is version is the engine code different than all other 135i's. My engine code is the same as the M135i (F20)
