I just started monitoring my jb4 and super new to it! I read the definitions and the way im understanding it logging is more about doing pulls than monitoring on a day to day basis in regular driving. My car recently came out of winter storage, chicago, full tank, topped of with stabil, etc. and viewing the jb4 logs it comes across to me that it's running normal when doing the pulls. Drove 200 miles, quarter fuel tank left, topped it off with 93. Drove the car to a wedding and the car sat outside parking lot for about 36 hours. We had some rain and major winds. Not saying my baby got a cold, but i found it interesting when i started it up, my FP_H showed a value of 12, where it typically sits at 5. To my understanding, the fp_h should be between 10-14 during pulls, not when its sitting still. looking at the log, the x-axis at 790 it started to decrease to the regular value of 5, and x-axis was 810. I drove the car home, mainly highway, (sidenote: crazy how long it takes the trans/oil/water temps to raise) after getting of on the highway. Driving in city about 10 minutes, my HP_F value sits at 12 again when i come to a complete stop. I wonder why that is. Is this a sign that the HPFP is going bad? when i release the brake and start moving, the hp_f goes back to regular 5.
I should mention that i noticed my FP_L sat at 75 when its typically in the normal range of 55-70.

I have a simple question regarding the E85 parameter. How is it measured or what sensor is used to measure E85 mix. Thanks!

Default jb4 logging no mph, gear, and others, how to add them - 05-20-2018, 03:23 PM

Hi,

I just installed jb4 on my stock 08 e90 and love the extra boost it allowed. However, when I logged my data I see "0" values in fields like mph, gear, ign2-6, ... see the attached log for details. My fw is 32/8//2 and the sw version is 9/1/17. Hopefully, one of you guys can set my straight.

Ok so most of these are listed in this forum, but there are some that are not. If someone could assist me that would be great. I am looking to learn what they are for the KIA as most of this is for the BMW's motors. Thank you in advance for your help.

Timestamp = time since logging started
RPM = RPM of engine
ECU_PSI = ECU/DME observed boost
Pedal = Gas pedal input
IAT = Inlet air temperature
Fuelen = value changes on firmware and engine type
Firmware 10, Lambada II T-GDi. So what does Fuelen mean?
Wgdc = not listed but seams to be always 0
Throttle = throttle blade position (0-100%)
Fp_h = fuel pressure high system
Calc_torque = not listed
What does it mean, I can take a guess
Dme_bt = DME boost set point
Meth = Methanol flow
Fp_l = fuel pressure low system
Gear = Current selected gear.
Stinger seams to always be 0
FF = Feed Forward
Load = DME load index
Clock = not import to anyone other than BMS
Map = map selected
Trims = fuel trims
Trims2 = not listed
AFR = AFR for bank 1
AFR2 = AFR for bank 2
ING_1,2,3,4,5,6 = ignition advance cylinder 1,2,3,4,5,6
Avg_ign = Average ignition retard for E series and some F series models
So what does it mean for the Lambada II T-GDi
Oilf = not listed
Can take a guess, but seams to always be 0
Waterf = not listed
Can take a guess, but not listed
Transf = not listed
Can take a guess, but seams to always be 0
E85 = not listed
Target = JB4ís target boost
Boost = PSI in charge pipe
Boost_2 = not listed
MPH = not listed
Don't really need anyone to tell me as it is MPH, just not listed.
