The install is easy, you only need to cut the b58 pump, take off the mainfold and change the pumps, and finish it. When ypu know how, you dont need more than a hour. We messure some times but they are slow, because we are to much people and to much stuff in the car.

Next weekend we do some time testings with jb4 and map6.
We do some puls on map6 but i think we can ran more boost in the midrange.

We also do some puls to 270kmh on german Autobahn and we had no problems. Only when we put to much e85.

Its a very nice option this pump and i can only say, buy it, install it and run it, you will love it

I install it like you, cut it same like you, only i dont need the conector, because the m2 conector is the same. E40mix was the maximum with 102 octane pump fuel frome Germany, e50 was to much

Still made less bhp than with the N55 stock pump and December log.

You made 1bhp more after the MHD/XHP tune for the B58 pump compared to the original N55 tune running the B58 Pump.

So much for how everything would get better once the car was tuned for the new pump

Congrats, you are only down 13bhp to the N55 Pump now.

yeah install itself is pretty easy , just have to be careful when you cut the flange and make the two new holes , so debris doesnt get where it shouldnt
overhere you have to blend your e fuel yourself ,as it isnt available in a gas station , im down to pumpgas for now but later on will try with e20 or e30

I think you would be octane limited before you reached that much boost. I was running 21 psi on E20 and methanol on my 335i (older HPFP) which I wouldn't have been able to do without methanol or no timing advance.

If your car was built before March 2014 you may need a new plug.
It was changed around 03/2014
My production month is 3/14 on my E84 so if this pans out maybe I am lucky.

Are you still running the stock intercooler? Intake temps are getting pretty high.

The change was March of 2012. You have the N54 style HPFP. I was able to run 19 psi on E30 and 23ish psi on E20 and meth with that HPFP.

your p/n took me to this picture on google .
so the swap cant be done , but your pump older style hpfp
should flow more than the oem N55 plunger new style hpfp.

From facebook

after M2 to B58 HPFP

Jozo Crepulja :
Its enought now to max out the m2 turbo, the maximum ethanol mix was e40 on 102 octane pump gas

So you don’t want to post the logs from the last 2 days proving you’ve fallen flat on your face with this?

Losing about 100bhp on 93 Octane and e20 performing even worse.....

Sad.

For $1100 you're better off getting port injection which can support a lot more power.

Yep.....but it would take more than $1100 all told with lines and lpfp.

431bhp on 93 Octane with FBO and Pure S2......down from 523bhp on the N55 stock HPFP is pretty sad.

E20 is even lower.

Actually I cannot fathom how they managed to kill that much power in the latest data files.

PI could take MUCH further (pushing 600) on straight E85 if so desired.

Feel sorry for those who wasted several hundred on this who didn’t read the data as I suggested.

dont think you could do that without wrecking something

Jozo Crepulja :

For upgrade turbo and ethanol it is still not enough .you will have to go the xdi route anyway . as can be shown in these logs .

93oct
https://daatazap.me/u/thomas/log-1552302396?log=1

E20
https://daatazap.me/u/thomas/log-1552511070

same engine map different fuel , its a 93oct map used for testing with e20
,if a dedicated ethanol map would make any difference idk , it was first time ive tested with E20

I've got a question, if you've already got 102 octane available at the pump, isn't that enough? Why bother mixing in the E85 at all or am I missing something?
