I like the linear response and xHP support of MHD stage 2... So far no problem at all.
+1 Same question here, I will be wanting to flash xHP soon.

JB4 doesn't care what flash map you use, but I'd need to see a JB4 log for any specific tuning advice.

You have to set JB4 in Future Use D to tell it you have a BEF, regardless of which BEF it is. As far as I know anyway.

What map are people running with their BEF? What's the best one with the most power?

Sorry, after dinner I realized I may have been a bit 'hangry' and slapped unprovoked.
Everyone's cars are different and have different tunes+upgrades. A bef maximizes the tune the best it can for those mods. The questions your asking will receive a full spectrum of answers as there's infinite mod combinations.
Knowing what you've read about already, what do YOU think the best bef would be?

For any tuning help on our BEF maps post a log here. You log via the JB4. MHD is just used to load our map and then unplugged from OBDII.

Not your fault I didn't give enough info. Reason I ask is because it seems my car if falling on it's face in higher rpm's but running better in map2 rather than map 5. I do not plan to ever run E85 so 93 octane from Costco is all I run ever.

Currently car mods are MHD BEF PWG3_Race, K&N Intake, ER ***-less down pipe, ER TIC Charge Pipe, ER Comp front mount IC, ER Charge pipe, MPE with an Exhaust dump before muffler.

I am beginning to think that the cars PWG is the problem and I need to replace BMW part # 11747626351. Due to the fact that the duty cycle is higher numbers in the higher RPM's. Here are two attached logs. Thanks for any help.

Hi all... i applied the latest 8/2/18 map last year around October but still get the boost under target message. The update says:
1) Addressed false alarm under boost fault code in various map versions

Does anyone know if that update was made AFTER 8/2/18 in the file?

Anyone here flashed the cold start noise reduction option? Any issues?

I recall someone here experienced rough idling on starting engine. I wonder if this has been resolved?

I have, no issues really. However, I am running E85 so she rarely likes to idle like butter when first started.

Some cars don't like the cold start delete for whatever reason, but it's easy to toggle it on and off during flash under options.

Thatís incorrect I use draggy and jb4 together all the time. Along with Spotify you can connect multiple BT devices on most any phone.

Tried out the cold start noise reduction option. So far so good! No rough idling or stutter. So much quieter on cold start now. Should have done this earlier. Lol

The problem is with the newest PWG firmware for the jb4. My car had the same issue and thought it was plugs or coils. I ended up downgrading the firmware to version 12 t2 and the issue resolved. Just to validate the issue I switched back to version 13 and the problem came back. Downgrade your JB4 firmware to version 12 t2 and youll be good to go!

Thanks for the info. I did end up buying the part and it didn't fix it. So I think doing the downgrade should fix it unfortunately. Was an easy install for the car having 115k on it. Also did the tensioner while I was at it. Thanks for letting me know a solution!
