Default FS: 2013 BMW X5 35i M-Sport - Fully Loaded! - 01-28-2019, 10:45 AM

SOLD!

I’m selling my unique, fully loaded BMW X5. It has been enthusiast owned and meticulously maintained. I’m only selling to downsize into a 3-series.

2013 BMW X5 35i
VIN: 5UXZV4C53D0B22673
Mileage: 96,021 (will increase as I drive it every day)

It's in great condition and needs nothing except for a new driver. Ready to be taken across the country if needed. No leaks, noises or quirks. 100% issue-free. It comes with all original booklets and both key fobs.

I had brand new Pirelli Scorpion winter tires installed last December. They have less than 5k miles on them. I also have a set of Continental ExtremeContact all-season tires that have plenty of life left. Both sets of tires will be included.

This X5 is loaded, you will be hard-pressed to find another for sale with this combination of packages/options.

If only it was a diesel! Love carbon black and M sport on the E70s.

The term "fully loaded" gets thrown around way too often but you are actually pretty close; only needs extended leather, 3rd row seating, dynamic drive, and tow package.

Clean vehicle GLWS

Unfortunately they didn't make diesel M-Sport E70 in the US

And yup, it's one of the most optioned out E70's I've seen. The 3rd row and dynamic drive usually go hand-in-hand, but I don't have a use for a 3rd row and wanted to avoid the expensive repair costs of maintaining the dynamic drive.

Thanks for the bump!

3rd row and air suspension go hand in hand, dynamic drive is extremely rare on LCI E70s, it was originally included as part of the "sports activity" package on the pre-LCI E70s but on LCIs the reactive struts and sways were a standalone, and very expensive (~$2,900 IIRC) package so most people didn't opt for it and rightfully so.

It got high praise on the X5M but I don't think the reliability as you mentioned would be worth the potential hassle, I would skip it too.

I really hate to be the bearer of bad news, especially since I had an E70 M, but I had my friend, who frequents the dealer auctions, look these up at Manheim. Average price for a 6 cylinder E70 is in the $11-12k area. None has sold in the $20k area in over 3 years, and that one was very low mileage. E70s are now 2 generations old, and driving them back to back with even the F15, they feel it.

I’m all for pricing high (my Lightning is priced $4k over book right now, $2k over Manheim average), but in doing that, it’s important to realize that you’re probably not going to get anywhere near your asking price. Those low ballers you’re ignoring are most likely right on with their offers. Maybe try negotiating a little with them instead.

I appreciate the input, but this isn't your average E70. I've only been able to find one other comparable X5 35i in the nation. However, I do think you're right that my initial asking price of $20,900 was too high. I've been dealing with a lot of tire kickers and people who can't seem to get financing.

Lots of serious offers around ~$18-19k, but the deal always seems to fall thru in one way or another. I just dropped the price again. Asking price includes two sets of tires (Pirelli Scorpions for winter and Continential ExtremeContacts for summer), have room for negotiation, especially if you don't want both sets of tires.
