Yes, the car has a flash. Waiting for a stock map by a tuner shop.

The owner of this car is a friend of mine. He already had a custom flash, but not good. We contacted BMS and bought a JB4. He has a TTH 350 hybrid turbo.
Not WMI yet, but soon.
I adiviced him to go back to stock map (via flash) because imho that custom flash could interfere with JB4

i see.. recent experience on a EWG 125i with the N20 motor demonstrated the other way round on that. Would be great if you guys sorted it out and share the knowledge. We got to dead end and we scrapped the jb4 because even when in map zero the timing values where not smoothed.

He did 3 logs (see attachment).

It does not go over 21 psi, with any map.

I tried also map 3 with meth disabled. With any additive, I can't go up beyond 21 psi.

After the last firmware update, we can't set Boost Safety beyond 21 psi with "N20 TMAP=0" (as the guide says for N20s with PWG).

On my N54 with hybrid turbos (N20 TMAP=1) I can set Boost Safety to high values.

Is your car EWG or PWG?
