Sounds like a plan! I have some time before winter hits but it looks like I'll need to get those wires installed. Thanks!

So I'm going to be getting a carbon fiber steering wheel soon that has the led lights and info screen on the top and i noticed that it needs to plug into the obdii Port to send info to the wheel. The jb4 currently occupies that port.

What would be the best solution to this predicament? I have read that obd splitters don't split the signal and it would just be one getting power while the other gets all the info.

My experience with splitters has been good. Don't spend the big $ on marketed ones. I bought one off Amazon for about $10 with good reviews. Sometimes it's just a matter of which device you plug in first.

Sure, do you have any recommendations?

This one is a freebie. Go to Amazon, type ODBII splitter and pick one with good reviews
Amazon.com: Right Angle OBD2 Splitter Y Cable Male Splitter to 2 Female Extension Cable 1ft Feet 30cm/12 (1male to 2 Female) 24AWG: GPS Navigation
This is the one I picked and works well

I get that I can just google OBDII splitter, but there are a lot of options out there and a lot of them mention that only one will get info and power while the other will just get power. So I am asking here if anyone has gotten one that does both info for both so I can run the steering wheel gauge and JB4 simultaneously through the same port. A review on the one you listed said that it doesn't do what I am trying to achieve. What are you runninng with the splitter currently?

Then why not run a map 0 run?

I will be running a Map 0 through Map 2 on a New stock 2022 G70 on stock plugs to compare runs. Then I will be adding bolt ons, intakes, plugs, e30, etcÖand comparing gains and running other maps.
I was just curious what others are running so I know what to expect.
Thx !!!!

I wouldn't run Map 1 and especially not Map 2 on stock plugs. You can, but seems like an unnecessary risk on a brand new engine for some experiment to see what it gets you.

If you want to install the rest of the mods incrementally and track your progress, go for it. I wouldn't do the JB4 without plugs though

You can do stock plugs with the correct gap. But for the small cost to get some plugs and have piece of mind is worth it!

There's no sense in pulling the stock plugs to gap them and put them back in. Pull the stock plugs to put the right ones in, with the proper gap. Either Denso 1(2)-step or HKS.

The right tools will make the job a breeze. Just takes a little more time and wiggling on the passenger side.

Unplug the jb4 cable that is plugged into the ob2 port. Wait a couple seconds and re launch the app and see if that fixed it

May need to lock doors and wait a few min, or maybe you knocked the OBDII loose.
