Default Time to sell my car? - 09-17-2017, 05:23 PM

Soooo I ran into someone in mexico tonight. It was a silver Chevy SS HHR. It was hideous but stupid fast. We did one pull from about 40 to 115. He was inching his way away from me until I changed to 4th gear then he started pulling away. I was just so shocked how fast it was. I met up with him at a red light and he said nice run and of course I said the same then noticed his front brakes were smoking, he said they're new lol. He said it was a cobalt SS engine, FBO with full E85.

My mods are in my signature except I didn't have any E85 tonight, just 93. I would love to go full E85 but the nearest station is too far away from me. I had 2 other passengers and the waste gate rattle fix (more lag). I'm just wondering if something is wrong with my car for it to lose to something like that?

Id post it in the kill stories but i'm wondering if somethings wrong. It just feels slow. I didn't get any lights on the dash but I do have codes. I have faulty low pressure fuel sensor, lambda probe behind catalytic converter trimming control and lambda probe front of catalytic converter trimming control.

I realize there are definitely faster cars out there but this......

Yep, definitely time to unload that piece of junk; Chevrolet ownership awaits you...

With the O2 codes you are not running at the full potential. You should address those before you run the car hard.

335i Coupe: E85 BB flash, JB4 G5 ISO (map 7), DCI and 60% E85 blend: 11.7 @ 120 mph.

Former Best with JB4 (G4, map 5) DCI and 40% E85 blend: 2009 BMW 335i Coupe: 12.173 @ 109.490 MPH

LOL, that's depressing. Sorry OP.

Probably your car is in a non-optimal state of tune.

My single turbo does a 12s at best too, that doesnt mean anything. Those cars can trap 115mph. The trap is what you want to look at, which is pretty comparable to a FBO non e85 N54.

PS, I had a 2010 Cobalt SS with that same (LNF) engine. So I'm well versed with what it can do. Mine had a bit over 400whp with an upgraded 6758 EFR turbo.
