Is there a possibility of making the obd 2 wireless instead, avoiding running the cable through the firewall

We may offer an option like that in the future some day, for now it's OBDII cable only though.

Default Looking for a solution to a mysterious issue - 05-12-2019, 01:35 AM

What up guys! Iíve asked around on different forums and decided to ask here as well. I have a Ď16 red sport modded with HX, Intakes, L***, and tune. When I hit around 7lbs of boost my car begins to stutter and sound like it has rolling antilag. I have zero DTCs pop up and no possible signs that significantly point to the issue. Looking at my logs AFR looks good and Fuel pressure looks good. Has anyone else experience this issue? Any input would be helpful.

Thank you guys!

Put the stock tune back, get a Jb4 set to map 1. If it happens again let us know.

Hey Terry @ BMS, can you take a look at this log? in 5th gear car bogged down hard, and ign_1 shows 0 the entire way. Knocking? Wondering if I broke something. Boost response is all whack too.

This was on 93. Nothing to worry about yeah? Car was also pretty heatsoaked, CACT ended at 140 on that run

That timing graph looks like crap. I'd drop the boost down a couple PSI.

Hi Terry

What are my options in terms of maps for a 17 Q60 SS on 91 octane?

Am I able to request the jb4 to come shipped with map2 so I can avoid buying a data cable ?

Your fuel trims are just sitting pegged. At that boost, E30 isn't doing anything for you, but may be contributing to your hesitation.

Run that tank dry and try dropping to an E20-E25 mix, I have a feeling this car does not like E30 without an LPFP upgrade. I experienced the same hard hesitations and haven't gone back to E yet

Ive read a lot of fuel cut issues with E30 so i decided to run around E22 with ambients around 65F.

I am currently running map 7 without any issues. Going to do lowerDP this weekend and ease my way back to map 7.

Just be sure to check your logs and monitor timing advance, afr, and fuel pressure.

No special setting required. Just enable fuel wires under fud.0 once installed!

In terms of what JB4 map you run it;s realyl based on fuel and your factory tuning. RS or SS?

I have a 2019 Infiniti Q50 SS and 93 octane, I am currently on Map 5 but tomorrow getting lower ***** installed HKS I moved up my installation appointment. I'm being told Map6 should put 7 psi here and 0 at 7,000 RPM. Wanted a starting point for Map6 reference, then I'll datalog and see how's it going and go higher if I could.
