Default Log Review request Misfire in WOT - 04-24-2019, 10:33 PM

Hello All,

My car is a 2014 bmw 535i.
When I am in WOT my car will have misfire around 5.5-6k rpm.
I am currently running approx 35% ethanol.
My current mods are JB4 iso, MHD BEF, pure turbo stage 2, FMIC, upgraded LPHP, BMS methonal, upgraded turbo inlet.
Can you give some advice?

Thanks

Your HPFP isn't capable of supporting that high of boost. You need to either upgrade your HPFP, get port injection, or lower boost.

Hpfp is tanking hard

We need to do a few things immediately- lower boost

If you want to keep using that boost profile- will need to supplement your factory HPFP- PI, CPI, etc

I was looking into ordering the phoenix racing n55 intake manifold with port Injection but cant decide if I want to keep the methonal or go straight e85.
Also do you know if I would need the new JB4 updated board?

Thanks!

I believe my JB4 rev 1.0 I believe this unit is over 4+ years old. Do you know if there is way to buy an updated board if needed for California?
Also lowered PSI to 21 on the settings and no more misfires.

Thanks!
