I was hoping to get some advice on tweaking my map 6 to my setup but they replied with

Map 4 will be best with 91 octane fuel and DP's.
Make sure EWG is connected as well

Doesn't that seem too agressive for running pump fuel given the map description says:

Map4: Absolute target map with peak target of 20psi (93+ and/or 30% E85, EWG connector suggested)

I've only got a single 0-90 run so far, what's the best run to get the data needed to tweak my maps?

For good logs do some pulls in 3rd and 4th gear. Start at 2000 RPM's and pull it up to redline.

I would probably run a couple of logs on 2 or 3 before going to 4. 4 may be the best, but I personally feel its safer to start lower and work up than just jumping in with both feet.

Sounds good, I'll run some map 1 and 2 and see how things look. Since I only have 91 near me, not sure about going higher but maybe the DP makes it safe(r)?

I wouldn't make that assumption but seeing your first logs will help to answer that question. When I started with JB4 i did Map 1 then waited for the JB4 guys to review and provide feedback. Then tried Map 2, etc. I don't go beyond Map 2 without adding some E85 and I have access to Shell 93 octane. I've tried Maps 3 and 4 and everything looks safe but maxing out the trims (risk of running lean) on Map 4. I think I'm going to daily run Map 2 or 3 and like 3 gallons of E85 as an octane booster.

Here's a couple map 4 runs. Support replied and said that I was already getting into the 19+ psi range with my d0wnpip3 so running map 4 is more to limit the boost to 20psi and limit uncontrolled overboost. Makes sense to me.

Edit: Why the heck can't we say words like d0wnpip3 on a car tuning forum?!

I'm a novice at reading these logs so I'd be sure to have the Jb4 guys look at all the stuff....trims, AFR, etc. My 2019 M240i and your car have the same motor but they are way different at producing power. Your car has all the good stuff and mine is more limited, Lol.

Yeah, support looked these over and said it looks fine.
My 0-60 with the AA DP and JB4 Map 1, NO launch control was 3.57s.
Running Map 4 now, will try again when I get a chance.

I'm running MAP 2 on the v22 Alpha version of the JB4 software on my 2022 G42 B58.

Map 3 caused issues with the car retarding boost and ignition around 4,000RPM and the issue was more pronounced on the Stable and Beta versions of the software, v22 and sticking to Map 2 mostly fixed the issue.

For the Gen2 motors that run 20psi stock map3 is too aggressive for many, map5 tends to be a better fit at 23psi absolute target.
