Hello - Just received this earlier today. Plan on installing tomorrow or Saturday. Iím in NJ so 93 is available and for now, planning to run it on 93 only. My car is completely stock (save for the MPE), should I kick things off with Map 1 and 2, or should I work my way up all the way to Map 3?? Suggestions for this newbie is welcomed.

with 93 octane you'd better get some map 1 and 2 logs and post them here for review before trying map3

Some minor timing corrections but not too bad. I'd stick with that until you add more octane.

Thanks, so if I wanted to log a Map 3, how much e85 should I add? couple of gallons to full tank?

I'd suggest adding 3 gallons of E85 to a full tank and logging map 2 first.

Thanks. What about If I went with Boostane? What should my target octane be when mixing in the additive, 96? 100?

Follow the directions on the bottle...

I'm not familiar with that brand but it's typically a bottle to a full tank of fuel. Then log and we'll see how it looks.

Looks pretty good, wouldn't suggest adding more than 4 gallons of your current E85 as trims are getting up there.

Thanks, I did read a google review that the E85 at this particulr station aint the greatest, but unfortunately for me its the nearest station to me, so all I can work with. Iíll run one on Map 2 as well with the current mixture and see if that is the optimum Map. Let me know if you have any other suggestions, ie Maps I can try out with my current mixture. Thanks

Edit: I just did another log while out for lunch - this is Map 3 and this time I believe the trims look better.

Ultimately that log looks pretty close to the same but fine.

For stations, people are typically talking about the actual ethanol content and for you, that's irrelevant as you can't run straight E85 anyway. I'd suggest a flex fuel kit so you can maintain the same ethanol content since you're capacity limited but need to run as much as you can for the octane.
