Logs are done in 3rd gear 2k to redline traction off

enable 6cyl timing logging - without this enabled you wont be able to see what all the other cylinders are doing only cyl 1

what type of fuel are you running?

Just checked my JB4 settings. Everything is on default numbers except FF/Wastegate Adaptation.

Looks like you are targeting stock boost 8 psi

Your oil temp at minimum needs to be at 160 - could be why you are only targeting 8 psi

JB4 locks you out until then - built in safety

Drive around till oil is up pass 160 (hazards should flash notifying you itís ready) and try doing some logs again

Nice!! Thank you!!

I'll make sure to get the temp over 160. I was wondering about the blinking lights on that.

And I think I may have little problem I've been having with rough idle and power loss 🙏🏻

Turns out I don't have the O-ring for my Tial BOV

I go back home in a couple of days (out in oilfield) so it's the first thing I'll do.

Manually lower your FF as well to 70-80

OE couplers on the aftermarket Intercooler are known leak points check those as well if after you install the o ring on the BOV doesn’t completely fix your issue

I'll make sure to double check on the couplers if it continues 🙌🏻

Can't wait to get home and do this! I'm literally in the middle of nowhere with no auto parts store or anything close by.

Hey Lucky. You mentioned that your stuck in the oil fields for a few days working. You wouldn't happen to mean Western North Dakota would you? If so, I may be able to help a bit. If that's where you're at, I'll be in Williston this Tues and Weds visiting family. I wouldn't mind at all helping out and bringing my N54 specific boost test set-up (hot and cold side). I can just throw my small compressor in my car before I leave tomorrow morning. Takes 2 minutes from the time you pop the hood.

I also have a brand new extra TIAL BOV O-ring (Factory new, never used, brown colored one that comes with the valve). Bought it as an extra when I bought the BOV but after installing it I see no way it'll ever just "go bad" so if it helps you can have it. The missing O-ring will cause a boost leak if you don't have one in the car now, but it wont affect vacuum loss as it's on the charge side of the BOV, vacuum only pulls from the upper section on the BOV specifically the top side of the piston inside. You may still have a vacuum leak elsewhere of course. What lines have you changed so far? Testing your idle vacuum with a gauge is the easiest way to see the leak, finding it can take a bit of poking around but easily narrowed down.

If your building target boost with the o-ring missing, that would say to me that your boost solenoids are working. If they weren't functioning and you had a big boost leak as well, you def wouldn't build any boost close to your target.

As far as your logs go Dave and Haynpunch, who've already been responding in this thread, will get you squared away for sure by looking at your logs. I haven't seen them but I'll look. I can only point out the obvious though, no expert here.

Let me know. Get this thing on the road and melting tires fast as possible!!
