The N63Intakes kit had always looked so convoluted to me. The way they come off the stock ***** and then put a U makes no sense. Plus the filter location in the grilles is not good for bad weather.

They should have removed the stock piping, came off the turbos, out to the fenders and put the filters in there. They’re making the ***** anyway, so clearing any obstacles isn’t a major issue. That would have been much cleaner, had less bends, more laminar flow, and have been safer. If they sized it right they may have even have been able to use a pair of slot mount MAFs.

Mike,

I am not worried about bad weather, I have other vehicles. The engine is getting plenty of air with this cold air design.

Fully installed Arm down *****. The holes for the O2 sensors were even off, couldn't install the metal cups on the top sensors. I used thermal sheeting for spark plugs to keep the upper sections of the sensors cool.
