Does this apply if you had all your injectors replaced under warranty already?

Would be nice if BMW extended this down to 2007s and 2008s. I had to replace a full set of injectors out of pocket a few years ago because 4 failed (untuned at 74K miles).

Thanks BMW but i'm still miffed.

Mine were replaced in 2011 by the first owner under warranty . I called BMW and this is what my service advisor told me and that the injectors only had a 2 year warranty after that. So now I have to replace them out of my pocket. :\ Only plus side is I'll learn how to replace injectors , and get to code something different. Lol !

I have a e90 335i made in 5/09 and my CPO warranty just expired December 18th. Before my warranty expired i changed my plugs and one of them was black. I was also getting some misfires like 30 seconds after starting the car on cold starts, but no check engine light came on. I tried to get the injector replaced when i still had the warranty, but the service advisor said they couldn't do anything without a check engine light. So now I scheduled an appointment next week, but have to pay a diagnostic fee, and I'm not sure if any codes will show up.

When I open my oil cap, it smells like gas and I'm afraid to drive my car hard. My car is completely stock for now. I have all the parts for FBO waiting until i get my maintenance issues sorted out.

What do you think is the best way to get them to cover the extended warranty? and also is there a link to this SI B01 02 15 limited warranty extension?

Thank you

Thanks for posting this, Duracell8! BMW just reimbursed me for the six Rock Auto injectors I installed in November. They even covered the shipping cost even though I didn't request it.

Did you install them yourself? How did you fill out the reimbursement papers / what all did you attach? I need to do this! Mine fits the SIB perfectly.

Enjoying the new tables discovered and the XDF progress made? if you'd like. Every bit is appreciated!

Yes, I installed them myself. I attached a document containing all of the information requested on the site, described the symptoms, and why I replaced all of the injectors. I also included the Rock Auto invoice and a copy of the PayPal transaction. They processed and sent out my check within 2 days of my submission although they say it can take 4-6 weeks. I was probably one of the first ones to send in a claim.

Thanks for posting this information.

My 08' wagon is loosing injectors at a rapid pace. I have new Bosch coils and plugs and I'm getting a misfire in a new cylinder every week.

It would be nice if they included 08' in the recall. I wonder why they would cut it off at 10'.
I don't know the numbers but 10' wagons must be pretty rare and they are included.

I'm going to call and maybe if enough 08' owners call they will extend it to include us.

This NOT a recall, it is an extended warranty. Pre 2010 vehicle did have a recall performed. This extended warranty is for the vehicles that did not fall into the original recall.

Thanks, I'll have to see if I have an open recall of if it was performed on my car. If so the the replacement injectors don't seem any better.

Can you pm me what you wrote so Bmw can replace my injectors?
I'm thinking about buying all 6 and do it myself....since dealer won't do it unless there's a check engine

All you have to do for this to work is the following. Step 1. Go to BMWRP dot com. Step 2. Put in last digits of your vin on right hand side of website next to Vin. Step 3 : click on where it says fuel injectors. Step 4 . Attach invoice and RO where it says to or whatever paperwork you have & click submit claim. . Step 5 : wait 2-3 days then call and see how your claim is holding up. If you sent all of the appropriate paperwork then your check should be on its way already. If they need more paperwork then they may ask you to fax some. This entire process took 1-2 weeks for me. It was Definetly worth it. Any1 who qualifies is lucky because I read that some 335i's are not covered... Best of luck every1!
